The National Convention is now over and we are back at the office. It was a great show for us, selling and buying. I really want to thank all the guys who came and introduced themselves, just to say hello. Its nice to meet the people that we do business with throughout the year! A special thanks goes out to the guys who gave my team and I a gift certificate to Gibsons Steak House. My dad ate so much that he basically had to sleep sitting up, as his stomach was going to explode!
The state of the hobby seems to be very, very strong. High end rare items are just getting amazing prices and seem to sell very quickly. This has also caused mid-grade and low-grade items to sell well, as not everyone can afford the high end stuff.
Now, to what you have all been waiting for............the new stuff. There were lots of people who couldn't make it to the National Convention and were kind of disappointed about the fact that we had "salted away" material for the purpose of having a full display at the convention. Like I had mentioned, we spent TONS of money on material. Hopefully, in the next few days, we will being updating the website with all kinds of unopened material. There is quite a bit of baseball, football, basketball and hockey from the 80's. Lots of boxes and lots of sealed cases! There will be plenty of new PSA packs to choose from along with all kinds of raw packs from the 70's and 80's. We will have sets from all sports from the 50's through the 70's.
Starting next week, we will then have tons of high end boxes from the mid 90's to the present. We bought a large inventory of this stuff before the show that is still on pallets! We also met someone at the show who shipped up a large unopened hockey collection from the mid 70's to the late 80's. That stuff will be on the website next week.
Please give us some time to unload the trucks and get all the stuff back into inventory where it belongs. Thanks! Steve
